East African Mission
Growth of the East African Mission
From the humble beginning in 1990, the mission has developed rapidly. For 10 years, it was animated by a mission coordinator under the direct Management of the Generalate. The Mission was erected as East African Delegation on June 13, 2001 with Sr. Antonita Nadamukath as Delegation Superior. After a period of three years of evaluation, it was raised to the status of East African Region on Sept. 8, 2004 with Sr. Antonita N. as the first Regional Superior. The Regional chapter conducted in June 2008 has given a new administration.
